People keep saying str wasn't eve many to go that high but with the new rework it still does?
Has anyone genuinely tried these duels out with everyone believing they are non upped gear? I've seen path jr vids proving axe can be beaten happily with the right equipment but both sides standard untag armour and no access?

why do people think punching gives op str? the only class that really benefits from punching for str is bow as punching gives the same str/dex gains as sword but also gives int/wis.
If you punched from lvl 1 you would have 235ish str and like 170 dex which is the same as a capped swordie. also people were moaning about op pd but that has been cleared up now. the gms minds are made up no amount of evidence will sway their decision to not go ahead with the change so sit back and enjoy the ride, a ride where everyone 2 hits each other because con is def instead of str.

Or you been playing another game all this time lol I don't really care about the arguement between you two but I'll just correct you there because for at least one year gvw was dominated completely by Slayer and 187 as stone holders it was literally a case of which ever one of them got the stone usually won without issue. No axers were seen and if you were around since the start of the server you'd know this. As far as removing them from the stone went, their biggest competition was each other.

Maybe that's the problem, axers accept they're dexless, archers should maybe accept the str less and move on My question to all moaning about axe being op, if given the opportunity to change your class at lvl100 would you pick axe? I am axe and I've always said it's useless pvp, they're too strong to drop easy and can't hit enough to get last, 1v1 nobody has an excuse dying to axe short of running out of pots, its main use is 5th aura in a team and step back let others do the work as sorc said you need only check armoury for successful pvp stats

Sorry for going off topic, and as I said I do believe this server is the best we have had including EU and has plenty of potential...so many of the changes have improved the game imo...especially stuff like not dropping on dc deaths...it's the simple things....
The gvw % system will work better now with the tweak, hopefully the patch and ability to level past 100 will bring back some numbers. I do agree once a week is probably better for dsoma as well.

What even is the reason for having a % system for GVW?
Current guild holders do not outnumber everyone else, are the same level as everyone else. Why exactly do disorganised people have it made easier for them to win something that should be won via competition.

It was suggested as an idea to get more people attending GVW and having it swap between guilds more often and we are trying it out (GVW had a lot of low turn outs and no shows). Same with the two GVW a week. The changes have at least made more people attend and open up more discussion. Both may not stay around long term as we try other things in the future that take longer to implement.

I think a free pots vendor would make more lower levels turn out. This has been suggested before elsewhere I believe. Specially for 3 days with gvw twice a week
Is it possible to give everyone in guild trace rather than just board? Seeing as it's a guild effort, there is no perk for the other 20 people really....
