"OPENTHEDOOR"I've never played dsoma Dan so hopefully an unbiased view. Or cap punching gains at a set stat for each class? Like 100 / 110/ 120 / 130 axe spear knux bow? All lvls punched more then those values will be for diffrent values of dex/con/str for your class only?

Can't you just do your changes and make no punching after lvl 100?

giving humans a RVR set of weapons/armour/access that can only be used at wotw and can't be upgraded would be an easy way to start, just re-colour hero and give it really good attack and defence.
surely this would not be hard to implement? |

The last WOTW and SS humans turned up in massive numbers and worked together, I was fighting both DL and Vikings, if you actually quit with the crying and turned up to these events week in and week out, (work and life permitting) then you could actually win, its always been the same few people turning up to these things even before I switched sides, at least they try.

The whole point of dsoma is to master one class so if you want high MD, play a mage. If you want high physical defence and high physical attack, play a melee class etc. Humans are jack of all trades, master of none. What's capped STR of dsoma axer? 280? 300? Idk. Humans on the other hand can't gain any more than 171 str. Figure out your 70% and you'll realise that devils still do a hell of a lot of damage to any human.

It's literally just been confirmed that Devils are getting nerfed and you're already asking for more? This is how we got in to this situation in the first place - altering a system that isn't broken. Stop crying about dying a couple of times at wotw, we get 2 or 3 banged by int but we just keep coming back and have fun pvping, because that's part of the game.

no dsoma players arnt just getting on with it because if you aint leaving soma your voicing a strong opionion about this new patch im sure dan/fin will read this thread so come up with some ideas if all of dsoma aint wanting this change. like my last post stated.

I believe there were plenty of options voiced way back when, some seemed bad some
Good, gm's decided on which they thought was best and easy to adjust, whether this be good or bad we will find out soon enough, it's well and good having the test server but when I've been on there isn't any/many others so you can't really get a real view on what will be like

Personally I think splitting the md % away from the other % would be easier to balance, devs can maintain a decent md level to stop getting 1-2-3hit
This in turn would allow str/def % to drop further and stop devs doing as much damage to humans |

think tbh... suggestions like this are whats slowed everything down.. Hence dan gona go with whats there atm on their plan..... see how it goes.. if its shit or flawed they can change it nps.
Better to have new stuff..than complain we never have anything new imo... Get the new stuff in..and input/ suggestions can be corrected if necessary Gm's arent here to make either devs or humans op. They aint biased. The more happy ppl there are.. on both races.. makes their life easier... And thats what they try to do. Give it a chance

That's great when it's new content building on the game like hsoma is getting and carry on from where your hard work got you to and continue to progress in the direction you choose, but a full rework to change the system is different, especially when you're being told you have to drop 20% of your existing stats
That isn't me trying to be negative or anything that is just stating what's happened, it may well work it may not time will tell i suppose

The point system aint bad if we get to try 8 points/lvl instead of 7 it would be same ish as it is now but without punching.
Or swamp str/int req of armours/robes to con/wis as i have sugested befor. |
