"FLAWLESS"Reverse the PK change. Make Daily mark exchange to PK immunity potion for those who don't want to be disturbed, say for 4 hours or something... Also i agree with Buffy on the nastiness, being given abuse on a daily basis really deters me from wanting to play

Solution lies in the community - in terms of population.
I hear both DL, VK and even a couple of Espadians say they didn't level or grind gear, repeatedly, over and over, broke it, over over, to get a reasonably good weapon and armor sets, to let it 'rust'. All that's done is bread a negativity, or a need to feel it was worth it and a need to prove it. The toxicity that people complain about is the constant need for deliberate goading, because again, everyone says this is a PvP game. And I'll say it once more, Esoma wasn't, you choose to make it a PvP game, its a everything game. All because people are bored apparently. You either enjoy the game for what it is, or you don't, if you have 'nothing' to farm or play for and need to force yourselves on people, maybe times called it with Soma for those people? Or maybe a new angle or new challenge is needed. It isn't helpful to most of the community otherwise. A game like this is otherwise endless. Recently someone told me "that the game is still fresh for you, and capped players are frustrated". My char in Esoma was over age 15, if not 16. My char on this server has almost a 1000 hours played. That's made up of socialising, hunting, guild hunts, crafting etc. When I'm done, I simply log off, if I quit for awhile, I simply stop playing. Stop the toxicity if you want the game to grow, stop the goading. Despite people trying to funnel PvP on everything, its still a game that offers everything, and those remaining (Which outnumber DL/Espada/VK by the way) need to be left to enjoy it. Hearing 'rival' guilds telling others guilds, they will make 'their' noobs hell. Is getting out of hand and hurting far deeper than anyone realises and driven by people retaining their feel of control of power. As for the suggestions, sure try them, and weapons, good idea etc don't forget the importance of community - there really just needs to be a couple of community moderators (with very limited powers) to just... lighten things and help smooth out what is community problems. Those types then feedback to GM's, of which have the least time We can all say this is a old game etc as much as we like but there's a lot that any one person, let alone a group can do to help.

tbh las few weeks.... without most of vk...and dl not having massive presence ingame cept for gvw.... soma has been a lot nicer place to play..... inter- guild members hunting in peace together..... no swearing/ gobbing off or ott pks...
not sure what that means...just an observation like fox says..a bit more civility and less pee taking is good Human soma been quite civil tbh..jus the devs letting the side down x One request from my aunty Doris...she not keen on the term ''sh1773r''and she asks politely..could the term ''poo'er'' be used instead ty x

+1 on boar drops, only worth farming when double drop is on and even then it's still pretty shocking

Agreed on boat drops, even from an uncapped player.
Would rather just move to mags when I run out of rested |

Just reading the ideas here makes me want my new laptop to log back on! The positivity here is very refreshing.
What about making it maybe 10~20% quicker to get to level 100 if the cap is raised again? It would encourage new players and bring back more players who dropped out before cap. I think the problem with the usercount is that it's the same people coming back for the patch getting bored and then quitting. Not many new players are joining and sticking it out to 110 as 1000+ hours of gaming when lots of players who get there just quit. What's the point? More people at 100+ makes everything better..... Pvp, economy, gvw, wotw etc etc. Just pleasing the old guard is all well and good but without an influx of new players the game won't last. Another thought I had was GMs or even players should reach out to some YouTubers or twitch streamers who cover mmorpgs. I'm sure someone would give soma a bash and stream it.

"DEAMOND""FLAWLESS"Reverse the PK change. I think something like this is needed for sure...casual players don't have the time to engage in pk and the 2pk rule seems to just enforce people running for easy targets they know will bend over and take the kills, which in turn feeds toxicity. As for the rest of the ideas, they are good, other than bringing back banned players.

@SubXero - all ideas sound good tbh
I am committing some time to play hsoma and I would definitely enjoy it more if there are more people actively playing. I am not sure why certain people hate the unban idea - I mean it is a game and if the crimes are somewhat forgivable then a good chunk should be allowed to return with the following caveat. 1) They will need to donate to unlock their players, a hefty cost like £100 donation 2) Having only 1 final chance to not mess about 3) Locking all their existing weapons/armors/accessories that are intense/lego so it is untradable.

"SLAYER""DEAMOND""FLAWLESS"Reverse the PK change. I think as it is now the PK system is fine, it solves the big issue of being left alone for a short time and this time keeps extending every time you enter immunity. However what about this.. 1) Assuming 4hours is 1 soma day - how about you can only kill someone 6 times per soma day as long as it was by entering immunity 3 times. This way you are left alone for the majority of the time. My issue with this is that people should not abuse it by killing themselves/allies and if they do and are reported their immunity is removed for 30days. 2) Only someone 5 levels difference can attack you, instead of 20 and if you fight back/hit someone who is grey, those who are higher/capped should not be able to attack you. This will allow those lower levels who want to be leveling and casual left alone from most players and there will only be very few odd players 5level range. These are just ideas for casual players but I still prefer the way the system is right now.

The problem with the lil soppy bitch culture here is that PK is a bannable offence.
PK and ban on a game like soma = kills a game like soma and you inevitably get left with all the bullied school drop outs moaning the server is dead but fail to realise they got a majority of the players who actually played the game banned due to moaning about how they played lmao

Yeah I think the PK “issues” which people moaned about before were never there.
There should be no immunity tokens - you have the ability to get free hunting for a period of time by simply dying twice, this is sufficient enough. Also look at the feed, not many chars are being killed / harassesed / stopped hunting so there is no issue. I don’t think being bored and running every map to kill people twice and move on is anything to complain about at all. It’s a fair balance between pkers and pvpers. Even if you argue, what’s the point killing someone twice when they won’t retaliate? It doesn’t matter what fuels that kill, it doesn’t affect either side so stop moaning about it.
