Let's end the silly and selfish discussion about upping mage con/hp please.


Agreed its really balanced that a mage can be 1 hit by a 5th sword and have to run away from everything just to get 1 cast off >:)


As soon a mage enters gv room - everyone who is able to will lock on to them and get them out of play as soon as possible.

A mage v sword 1 v 1 I seen swordy lose all the time - no mage should be caught out with range 1 sword unless they are being flinched by archers or an axer stoned them.

As an archer I now need zombie pad to drop mages otherwise it's game over.

If it is so unbearable to play a mage people can just go play 1 of their million other characters, people sometimes sacrifice their axer to play mage for gvw due to the OP factor it has.

Anyways there is a different topic for this and I have put videos and argued with people around this point.

Its not what you're expecting I believe its 0-2 ma and it requires the drops from ferals dont remember name havent rares risk my best staff for that little a return

No point arguing with Afro, he's blinded by achersoma on dsoma because most of Mutiny are Archers. Mages literally cannot 1v1 any archer without 4th staff and it lasts what, 5 seconds rofl? Get 3 or 4 casts off while the mage is being hit by a 115-120 max attack B+ speed xbow which 3 or 4 hits the mage LMAO, then the mage cannot cast until the aura is up again so the mage has to run for a whole minute to get another 3-4 casts off. How is it balanced, next gvw I'll get link to play a mage for the gvw and record it, then the community will see how broken mage PvP is.

Even a spell like light arrow range 8 would be decent enough to harass, and out range a archer to stutter step n cast so Mages can actually do something at a Gvw, you literally have to run outside the hall to precast a spell then re-enter to get ONE spell off, if two archers click lock you while you run in to get your cast off your dead, rinse and repeat 20x until gvw is over then log out wondering why not just reroll a Archer. -.-

It's simply broken, Why? Because Dsoma archers could never upgrade there bows with speed upgrades and now they can with insane attack because of the intense/legendary tags. Mages only get a small MA buffer from the tag system and explosion-x isn't a fast enough cast like lvl 4 spirit/light sword on Hsoma. Dsoma mages have 50 less Dex than a Archer with no evasion as well like Hsoma, we cannot cast without a aura which lasts 5 seconds and has a MINUTE cool down, a lower cool down would help, 25 seconds ish?

No I do not want to make archers OP - and dsoma isn't all about archers vs mages
I am not having an issue with mages 4th aura and from the sound of it yes you guys need an improvement on the duration of this aura.

My issue is with the fact that we are requesting a con/hp buff for mages - I argue that they can take on more than enough damage and I have included clips where slayer and manti (on 90%) 4th timed a mage and he survived.

So yes - lets talk about improving the 4th aura for mages but hell no to increase of defense.

Just looks like another standard Encore/DL thread to me... Mutiny have more archers so let's all spam forum claiming zombie pads are OP on archer and we'll get it changed to range 1.

We have loads of mages so let's pretend they're underpowered and all spam the thread so we get another change to suit our guild.

What next underpowered axers and a 50 con boost?

Mages are a glass cannon and can 1 shot melle chars yet still out-pot getting hit by a melle or two often. Sure give them a hp/con boost but drastically reduce they're MA to make up for it


Mages can 1 shot any class. Only swords can 1 shot you yet you think you need a buff:/

Bevan got anything to say? A buff to con/hp wouldn't really help the situation anyway it's more the point that mages can't fight even a archer 20 or 30 lvls lower without using a aura which 1) The duration is way way to short especially when sometimes your casts can bug and it takes a few seconds so you can cast again 2) The cool down is extremely long 3) If the archer is smart, when he see's your aura being casted all he has to do is run til it goes away then click lock and then go atm while the mage tries to cast.

What about making casting only interuptable 50% of the time with bows and still 100% for melee classes? Just for Dsoma ofc, put it on the test server and we can see if it's op or not. Mages would still be able to get 3-4 hit but actually be able to attempt to get spells off in PvP against the Archer class.

Mages can only 1 shot with weaken + a lucky proc (which you can serum)
