Lets be honest here Matty, you and Tom put forth the suggestion for a cap on pk and the whole immunity thing and its killed off PK is many forms and alot of people left from it, so I think the best ideas are that you stop posting ideas completely as non of yours have benefited the community.

I think the PK immunity thing should go away once u reach cap until u cap it is a nice protection to allow you to hunt but once u cap I think u should be fair game

Leave PK as it is, I think it's at a good point now. This game isn't just about the care bear players, there's a large population of the server who play purely for PVP. These players need to be taking into consideration too. Take any more PVP away you're going to lose some of them too.
World chat and other communication in game is very mild compared to what it used to be and if you find what ever "abuse" the person behind the other screen is giving you offenceive or a reason to quit the game (especially when it's not directed at you) you really need to get a grip. Of course in extreme cases punishment must be given but it seems these days a bit of in game banter "my char is better than your char" in world chat is seen as offenive to some.

Listen to my podcast, i said there needs to be something that stops people logging off and havin to quit due to harrsement. What ever that was was a gms decision

Fairly accurate rofl, let's be honest though how many legitimately new players actually join this game not counting old players that haven't played soma for 10 odd years but have played in the past. Everytime someone quits or gets banned replacing that person becomes extremely difficult at this point. Was way too much moaning over a non issue imo.

Fairly accurate rofl, let's be honest though how many legitimately new players actually join this game not counting old players that haven't played soma for 10 odd years but have played in the past. There's not enough going on to attract new or old players to the game. When the old players do come back they soon go again. This is why I think increasing the speed to get to level 100 would be a massive positive. I also think that a lot of people take this game way too seriously and way too personally. Just look at some of the threads just left on this forum. If I was brand new and just started the game then checked this forum to see what the community is like I would probably not bother logging back on. (not every thread is toxic however there is a lot of negativity on the forums which isn't a true reflection of everyone in game) I do think some sort of forum moderation and community event management would be an awesome addition. Perhaps there could be a nomination form then a voting system for people who were nominated and willing to be able to commit X hours a week to supporting the community. Perhaps one for dsoma and one for hsoma and give the gms the final vote if there is a tie. Maybe make the role description public so the person is held accountable by all players to keep it unbiased and fair. Bottom line is as a community people need to just park grudges and ill will to anyone else and remember we are all here for the same reason. We love this old game. #stopthehate

This is what I was trying to get at in my previous post. There's not enough going on to attract new or old players to the game. When the old players do come back they soon go again.

Realistically I think we are all in agreement that Boars drop rate are terrible. Give it a little buff of 0.5 the current drop rate and that would help an awful lot. People would still be tempted to farm those shak weaps, thus keeping people ingame which in turn boosts the economy with the other drops they will be getting.
It’s a win win all round.
