At this point it needs to be more drastic

3x or 4 x rates on the wep drops at bores imo

Then give the option to use 3 weps and watch everyone come back to game to make +8 shak weps

Also i love the idea of removing the crafting limit per char

Also being able to use 3 weaps is a bad idea imo.

My reasoning is, with character building you can’t make a char which is awesome at all parts of the game ie pvp rvr and bosses.

With weaps you either gear for Pvp or bosses. With having 3 weaps available those of us with a lot for time / a big pool of items to trade will be able to dominate both pvp and bosses. Whereas at the moment for example subxero is pvp based and does very well at it and Michelin is boss based using spear and has a good kill rate on MBL and Shak.

It keeps the game more fair for those who don’t have the time / resources to compete for gear and aren’t interesting in the pvp.

I do admit it would be lovely to wield three weapons but it would cause more harm than good to the player base.

The gorsh tier weps drop at low rates at boars for 1 reason..it would make gorsh redundant.
New tier weps need to be at gorsh or other bosses mayb..then the current gorsh stuff could be made easier to get from other mobs maybe. Some psycho x-bows more available ingame would be a nice addition

if there was to be a new tier of weapons they should all, imo, be boss dropped.

If you increase skill cap, everyone becomes a jack-of-all; max bow, max close combat weapon of choice, 80 axe for stone then rest in staff. Soma really doesnt need more allrounder classes, it needs more specialisation.

Perhaps the new tier of weapons could require skills in two weapons to equip; this would stop people being able to generalise and create more uniqueness. This approach would require very careful selections of skill combinations such as sword/knuckle, axe/spear, spear/sword ect, traditionally less used combinations. This can then effectivley almost create whole new classes of weapons (change standard speeds ect) For example.

Wrist Sword
x-x damage
Recoil 800
[req] 170 knuckle skill
[req] 170 sword skill
[req] X Str / Dex
(5% Bleed chance)

Pole Axe (naginata style)
x-x damage
Recoil 1100
[req] 170 Spear
[req] 170 Axe
[req] X Str / Dex
(10% parry chance)

Obviously from a gaining skill point, one of these classes would have to be dominant, so using the wrist sword would have a knuckle skin, animation and gain knuckle skill and stats at the knuckle ratio.

This also brings me nicley into the next point, the new tier can have unique buffs or debuffs.
For example the wrist swords could have a nasty bleed type debuff which could damage health and stamina which would add a new dynamic of stamina management to close pvp situations.

Pole axes could have a parry style buff which can deflect an incoming blow at 10% - similar to how ToE's worked on armor, +200 defence(10%) for instance.

Could have battle staves requiring staff and spear skill, magic attack passive being removed from the staff and replaced with a decent melee damage and a high magic proc chance (10+%). Would be a very intersting weapon and create a very intersting dynamic, a mage getting into the fray.

New sword style hybrid (requiring sword/axe) with a riposte passive (x% chance of x-x retaliation damage when hit).

Maybe even a crafters hammer if its possible, req 170 axe, 150 metal craft skill. A sunder armor passive (x% Chance of -20 defence for 10sec on striking).

There's endless possibilities if its designed well, i.e they all have something very usefull and niche to offer. It would outright stop the obvious combo's reigning supreme as choosing one of these new weapons as your weapon of choice negates the possibility within the current skill framework of picking the best of everything.

New magic based buffs & debuffs and other ultility would make a huge difference also...

If you make boars drop x4 and people start making alot of +8 weps its going to be the norm then ppl'l be bored again.. When does it stop? There is limitations with soma..It is a 15+ year old game afterall. I think its fine as it is. Just my opinion though.

Killed maybe, but you're guessing at the others. There's no way you can actually know. People still get vile pms that ofc you can't see also.
I hunted for the 1st time in several weeks apart from the event and got attacked by some DL members after only 10 minutes.
The PK system is fine now though with the last changes.

I would like an amnesty for people paying real life cash for items, and the rules changing on that personally.
Some people get away with doing it anyway. Mentioning no names as I eat some rice cakes.
Put better items in the Donation Store, this can only help the server with the uc and funds.

I purely meant harassment within pking, what goes on in pm between people isn’t my concern. Also your world shout is pretty vile ALOT of the time.

As for accusing celts, he’s already had this out with you and no gm said he bought the helm for cash so stop trying to stir the pot and keep it on topic.

I agree Dsoma definitely needs some drop rate tweaking, currently I wouldn’t dream of farming but if the rates were increased then I and I’m sure others would be more active/happy about farming.
