There is and always has been an issue for mages, that's one of the reasons why they punched, many things could be done...Con seemed like a good idea, but maybe giving them light arrow, longer 4th with shorter cool down or archers having a lower hit rate (I did suggest a higher % dodge aura for mages at one point), would be better.
This isn't a Encore vs Mutiny thing, just like me asking for changes in pk system (not to how it is now) as I always see people getting fed up with harassment isn't either.... it would just be good to see more classes played and people stick around...same goes for mags not dropping rubies for axers to farm end game.... Which BTW Isy thanks for adding these, but adding smalls just means they won't bother...need mediums at least (or just add KE with similar rarity as DTs etc), as they would need 9 smalls just to make 1 large ruby, for a chance to combine to make 1 KE. Smalls are better than nothing and might get a few more floating in the economy, if anyone was farming them lol. I like some of the ideas suggested like a level 80 for a new starter, I have had a couple of friends start and they just find it too much of a grind to invest the time, just to catch up level wise, let alone gear wise.

Afro (DSoma) mages get 5 seconds of 4th staff (pvp) then have to run for another minute while 4th regens. And all a decent archer needs is the awarness of 4th staff. (Seem to be none existant as there are only a handfull of decent archers on Dsoma) (moonface) Not to mention leveling a mage is slow af. I know you know how slow that is btw.
So to conlude this bit regarding DSoma mages they need looking at (abit like brainstorm's head sometimes)

I know a lot of people from esoma days whom played in the early weeks/months of this server but just couldn't keep up or commit the hours to stay competitive. Hard to cater to everyone I know, but we need a way to get new players into the game quicker so they can participate, seen as there isn't enough active members of lower level currently, other than same old players who are capping a new char with upped gear (i'm generalizing here I know).

Every mage I've seen on armoury runs MA/Int/proc gear sets as they still want to be able to easily one shot melle classes, but then they moan about being squidgy, what would happen if you put kekkets OP tanking set on wezz? (or a +55 dex set?) In a way you'd be sacrificing int/ma for survivability xD

Easily one shot? Dont talk rubbish
Without proc mages deal roughly 25-30% damage against an archer, they easily receive the same (often more) per hit every hit while being stopped from attacking, can you imagine how boring pvp would be if your melee attack got interrupted because you took a hit? Add in pod sets and 4th auras it's easily the equivalent of a proc (ignoring pod sets providing 20% chance rather than 5% proc)

As has been said if you want survivability then gear/allocate for it, you guys wear rare tag stuff upped with proc, some in supreme or bitter supreme and wondering why you die easy? It’s beyond stupid.

Proof is in the video afro keeps posting while he is in full invul when I dont proc I hit for roughly 30% or less and when I proc'd it only took just over half
