Sure a couple more events would be brill, realy enjoyed the weekend, tho couldn't decide what to do lvled abit but also wanted to craft, so would defently enjoy another
Tho dont think it should be much more than that, if it was that speed permanently I'd end up caped quite quick, and the drop rates ain't high enough to just farm with no levels to do

+1 for more end game content, people play on other games years after being capped because of a strong endgame

tis amazing, the best VR experience out there, it needs some mods though so be prepared to do a bit of reaseach , watch some mod videos to get it set up properly.
firstly before you invest I would go for the cracked version available on Fitgirlrepacks , see if the resolution is ok on the vive as ive heard its not the best for clarity. there are some mods you cannot use but most work ok. ive just invested in a valve index so will be retiring my rift .

By reading all these comments i would have to say it would appear that there are a lot of players missing out playing the game due to the current rates and it is a shame that they feel the time they put in is not worth the reward.
So if this means the UC is higher and has a knock on effect for other positive things for the server then, +1 Also have to say that the current In-game Daily mark exchange could use adjustments, As it stands you need 3 daily marks to get 3 large rested pots so at a higher level your talking like 5% rested which for the struggle of making sure you hand in your daily marks and accept the quest is quite poor. If dan doesn't wish to change the rates then this could be another possible solution of having something like an Extra large rested pot for 1 Daily mark that gives like 20% rested or something similar (but can only be used at higher levels i.e above 90 or so, so that this wouldn't have an impact on people buying rested for lower levels) as lets be honest unless your stinking rich your not going to be buying anymore rested pots past like level 85...

To be honest I agree deamond, once I heard about triple xp I was lvl 86 and I wanted rested pots
Did palus quest had 10 large and that was like 16 percent To me it just wasn’t worth paying. £30 for one level of rested Currently lvl 93 |

"RAZOR""DOUAVACADO"There is always the option of rested pots, you can find them in the store 12 hours a week is potentially 72% a week after lvl 100, what are you doing during your time online? Below level 100, you should easily have a level complete with 12hrs in the week especially with rested to assist I've capped 2 devs in less than 1000hrs and I've nearly capped a human in less than 1500 lol (the devs had slower % than current server rates but the human is on the most recent rates) 1500hrs is 17.12% of the total year (365 days is 8760hrs) Some of the chars in this post have been around for longer than a year? And loads of other people have capped with full time jobs and kids, I think half of the problem is the fact that the people in this thread just can't be arsed lol or when they are online they don't have a game plan/use time efficiently

I am a filthy casual, level 94 and have never used my rested up since I was about level 80, unless its a double weekend of course. It takes me 12 hours to use my rested currently and I play for ~12 hours a week.[/quote]

+1 for fast rates (even if not 3x) as I’m lucky if I get 3/4 hours per week. To dip back in just to hunt solidly for 10-15% each week is a little frustrating. Have been wanting to join pvp for years now 😂. Haven’t really considered crafting yet either

Let's be perfectly honest. In games like this, you're never going to please everyone...
However considering how we had it in E Soma, cant quite understand why people aren't happy, we have more XP, more mobs, more items. Alot of the time even 6 years in theres still shit loads of people online. I've been on at 2/3am when I've been at work on my break and TYT is still full of activity. Rates are good as they are. I think crank them any higher you're just going to have more and more capped players leading to people getting bored alot quicker... what ever happened to just enjoying Soma? Be it PVE or PVP. What ever floats your boat? Rushing to cap and making that rush quicker and easier surley people realise that's going to lead to people getting bored?? And that surely will have an effect on the longevity of the server. Personally I think ISylver and Finito do a grand job doing what they can and the balance is pretty good. So instead of asking for more of this and more of that... be a sport and appreciate what you have maybe??

"DOUAVACADO" I do agree with this, I Made this char around November healed to 60 int con to 30 , stopped playing for 2 months or so and just hit lvl 116 playing around 4 hours a night. I enjoy lvling and I think the speed as it is. is fine. However I see other peoples point if some1 only plays say an hour a night is going to take forever to cap.

"SAMTHEMAGIC"Let's be perfectly honest. In games like this, you're never going to please everyone... Everybody plays the game to their style, Some people like to craft and play for PVE which is fine and those people are probably not overly concerned about leveling fast and joining in with PVP - But the majority of players i feel anyway, want to cap so that they can start having fun. Yeah it can be fun leveling but i think there's a certain stage where the fun dies down leveling and becomes a grind which is no longer enjoyable, and people want to get involved with "more" fun things like PK wars, Wotw/GVW. Isylver and Fin have done a great job with the server i completely agree - People are explaining their situation that they love soma but just struggle to find time to be able to compete or have fun, As the majority of people playing now are all around their late 20's with commitments i think it would be silly to not accommodate to the best of their abilities to their playerbase.

"DEVONNE""LYRICIST"I wasnt talking about me. Unlike you lot I consider other players. Do you know how many people I see hunting in basic gear with D speed bows. Makes me cry. And why not? What difference does it matter if people cap quicker? Theyve still got to farm gear after. Not like with 3x rates people are gonna cap in a week will still take months. But months is better than years.. Like I say only a bunch of players can commit to the rates and the dedication it takes to capping a char and farming gear as the basic rates stand. You do know I already have a capped char and gear right? No hidden agendas from me mr store char. Moonface.

Except you were talking about yourself.
People who only have access to basic gear don't care about ever being competitive, or capping for that matter and those that have that mindset care far more about acquiring items than any grand race to the cap. It's only a person with access to higher quality items like yourself that is massively desperate to reach the cap in a couple of months, everyone else simply doesn't care.
If you want to boost anything boost the drop rates, levelling rates don't matter at all and the casual friendly part of crafting is already fast enough.

Also your view on people who dont have gear you say they dont want to cap and arent competitive.. where is the logic in that? What is the point in playing if you dont want to cap, farm gear or be competative? Why do you feel you speak for ungeared players?

The event was fun, I popped on when I read about it, found some time away from work. Will likely play casually, but I had a sad realisation this event, I was killing wasps, enjoying my levelling, when I became very aware of how much slower levelling would be post event. It turned me off and I logged out mid event sadly, as I couldn’t justify it 3 days of grind when I would drop it like a rock come events end. These events attract many players for a reason.

I blame the level rises for the gradual decline in the UC and that's not a blame on the GM's because the community were the ones asking for these rises.
The higher the level gets, the longer it takes for your average casual player of 1-2 hours a day or a few days a week to achieve, which these players start to think there reward isn't worth there time. The experience all mobs give needs tweaking again to allow your casual players to feel there time is being rewarded and allow them to catch up. No more cap rises for a year or 2 and focus on end game context. Revamp drop files so the mobs your levelling on drop things you need at that time and not what you needed 10+ levels ago. Focus on events, competitions to give players that fun factor back. Soma is and always has been the journey you have from level 1, so bring the fun back into Soma to replace the grind that it seems to have turned into.
