Firstly I'm not on discord and have not been in any discussion about this s so called community council.
The idea I believe has all the good intentions but sorry to burst the bubble but the execution of it all has been a complete and utter feck up and premature. We have just been talking about the lack of communication and you seem to have had a closed door meeting with a select few in it and come out with self made titles and roles claiming to be for the community without first putting the idea to the community and for the community to put forward who they feel would be right for these roles. You can't have a community council without the community having a say on who they would like to represent or speak for them it's called democracy or has Soma overnight turned into a dictatorship. I can neither decline or accept this self made up role until it has been put to the community. So I will set an example I put forward... Dosgardenias and Orge for dsoma and the Korean side of the community both very helping and try to bring the best to dsoma.

I know dsoma is quiet at the moment but would like to see wagawaga/Nitefall to represent some of the future discussions

The people who were chosen were chosen simply because there were skill sets required and they were the best people to provide said skill sets.
I chose the people with Finito's approval, to fulfill a certain function - to create content for the game and address issues people have voiced for a long time. I posted many times in the past for support in creating content such as weapon skins and never had any response, either the majority are unable to provide the support or are unwilling. As such I formed a team to overcome this hurdle and create content. --Chojine.

Issue lies with subxero - he doesn't have any skill set valid for content creation, he can give his voice and feedback like everyone else but if you want a healthy community then remove that individual and most are willing to listen and give feedback. If this community council won't listen to the one overwhelming feedback about one individual for alot of valid reason then I worry about the future of soma. Subxero has a history of abusing, cheating, lying and even stealing (example stole VK for abit recently)

You guys named few people, and I think for most case no one has an issue with it and are happy to see where it goes.

They were chosen because they not only have the skill set, they are willing to contribute a very large chunk of time to the project.
Of course people can change, or be added to, with Finito's approval, show me a willing person with an ability to make skins / software / media content / narratives etc and I shall endeavour to contact them. Seriously. I never knew all were male, I carried out all discussions in text format prior to our first voice chat, so that is coincidental. Also I apologise, what were the other questions you raised? --Chojine.

What benefit are you guys getting from subxero? is he paying for your time? if not, zero reason to have him as a council unless you want it tainted.

Anyway no matter who was chosen you cant keep everyone happy. But from what i read this morning finto has put some amazing ideas forward so lets see how this goes over the next few weeks. I have some teaser videos to work on in the meantime :)

Subxero is being used for the production of media content, he is skilled at creating videos and podcasts, so he was an easy choice for that role.
We have already agreed ground rules for the project, namely no grudges or ingame carry over is allowed, all I care about is progress. I understand that he is disliked by part of the community but I am an advocate for seeing how people work. If he remains as professional as he has been in our group chats reference media creation and he delivers, there is no reason I can see to remove him. Subxero is not being utilised to make decisions on game state, his role is to disseminate it via media platforms. If he does this then I cannot allow a game based view leak in to the project, as at that point I become biased. --Chojine.
