New Necklace Requirements

Author Content Date
I was looking at saving Valour to get one of the new neckies, probably attack as I ain't no tank. Only to realise that there is a substansial int requirement (120) int to use it. I feel like there shouldn't be an int requirement on a melee/DPS based accesory.
Would it be possible to have a re-think on that or does anyone else have thoughts on the reqs?

Cheers

Only sounds fair
They lowered the dex req from 120 to 100 to make it easier for tanks to achieve theirs

it got lowered because tanks cant get 120dex but can get 100dex getting 120int shouldn't be an issue these days

What kind of Pepega logic is this. Tanks are Essentially STR Mages, moreover hsoma is all about freedom of what stats you want to level and how you want to finish a character.

What you are saying is "Mages can't get dex to 120 so it was lowered" which is incredebly stupid, yes there are two types of Mages, STR / DEX but that does not mean that' it's fair to lower dex to 100 for "Tanks" to wear when melee chars that chose to leave their INT at 100 can't wear it. It's honestly stupid.

It should be 120STR 100DEX 100INT or 120STR 120DEX 120INT. In my opinion it shouldn't even have such high requirements when the most popular attack necklace that everybody upgrades is only has 56 STR req.

Some melee chars don't even have 70 INT xD.

I think the idea is to try encourage people to balance their stats a bit more / reward those that have

The problem with the tank one is getting that much dex wastes way more xp (+ its literally a wasted stat) - you'd have to completely ruin your char to wear it

The same could be said about melee chars wanting all str / dex, if you get int past 100 INT heal point you're essentially wasting it.

??

Also I understand the idea, but it doesn't excuse the fact that the necklace was nerfed from 120 120 120 to 120 100 120 to suit the "Tank" build path. And no one can argue otherwise.

Don't talk about balance to me pls.

Wrong again, Nite.

120 dex on a tank char is a total waste of xp, due to the fact it literally offers zero benefit against even 160 dex char’s pretty much (99% of melee), while using a fair chunk of xp.

120 int vs 100 int = a lot less xp used up and 20 MD is a legitimate help.

Pull your head out your arse for once, idiot.

With the incoming damage from procs 20md isn't worth as much as you claim, all it does is cater toward the majority of mages which are generally str type anyway

2 procs + the first spell is 60 less damage because of that 20 MD. 100% worth it.

Requirements are fine the way they are.
