Its the fact a melee gets to use a powerfull spell that only mages should be able to, as it is 120 int afterall, just my opinion of course, seems abit daft
1-1 defence is nothing to loose when u have 5 archers shooting with a pair of pants on from far away, this is not just dsoma, when the whole server has them on at wotws its going to be rediculous lol If it was a lower spell like the other % things i wouldnt care, but when its something thats endgame for a mage it does matter

Yeah and I have no problem admitting that, when the odds are already against us, why would anyone bother wasting 500k trying to go for something like gvw when you have spells like that against you to?
Regardless of that, even if we had the mage equivalent of monster/laz I would still say it was a silly spell, as again it just makes it impossible to hold the stone based on stats, yes you need decent stats to stand a chance of holding it, but even if you do have decent stats, it's just luck who wins, this is assuming both sides had an even number of melee/mages, which is never the case. It just amplifies any differences in ability between guilds IMO, as opposed to making it more even. This may well not apply to hsoma though as I know the damage dealt isn't as instant/high

I've tried not to have an opinion on the Zombie spell or the pants because I think it's a bit too early with too few people with the spell to accurately gauge how it is affecting PvP.
But they way I see it, once many people have the spells and many people are wearing the green panties, GVW and WotW stones are not going to be held by anyone for any significant amount of time. We will have anyone and everyone jumping on stones and insta-dying. Aren't these events supposed to be mostly about which side has the largest, strongest and tactical force, rather than who has the most black serums?

"ISYLVER"4% chance of one player hitting zombie with those pants. Thats 1 in 25 hits. It takes 1 serum to remove zombie. At wotw and gvw it doesn't make sense though. 10 people wearing pants - that's 2 in 5 hits. serums are w4. You'll need as many serums as pots - probably more.

People don't care about losing the defense, it's only 0-6 less then wearing medusa and 8-11 less defense then hero pads, good tags could probably make that up[/quote]

Dan 1 in 25 doesn't seem much.
But stick that on a bow thats a or b speed, or a knuckle thats a+. Someone can easily use 1500 dura at gvw hsoma. So thats in theory 60 procs of zombie. I don't know how many pants are ingame, but that seems way out of line considering how hard the spell is to get (judging by dsoma). I love the other status effects its all good, fun, doesn't change things to much ect. But these pants seem to negate the spell. Like Myself and 1-2 others in FT had gone, on where planning to go black mage to get the spell. But if people have the pants, there isn't any point. More than enough zombie procs. You only have to look at everyone punching birthday bugs to see how often it comes up. I just think you/we should protect how hard the spell is to get.

Dunno about the pants, but personally think 120 int is too low of a req, even the str heavy characters should be able to get 145 int by cap. Just means everyone is going to be running around with the spell and -m weapons to cast it.
