Axe has 1% hit chance on an archer. 3 / 0.01 = 300.

"BASIL"Id want to point out the gains from punching but I'll save that for another topic :p I think a class should always have a route whereby they can level with their weapon and be able to compete with all classes! What if someone hates to level via punching?

"JAHEIRA"The problem with bow is that it's main stat is caped, if level cap is ever raised I would hope a caped evasion rate is added and dex uncapped from 200ish If level cap is raised then I do feel it is necessary to raise dex cap. Not sure how hard it would be to change from 32 bit to 64 bit, though (sure Finito could shed some light).

I think if they were to raise the dex cap then the CON/STR change that was made could be left as it is (or maybe do some fine tuning only)...balance would be maintained if archers and knuckle users can continue to gain dex at the rate their classes are intended to.

Dex classes are too easy to play, it's cool when they shit on everyone else all the way to 90+ or they hunt with almost no effort barely getting hit by end game mobs but now things have changed now others have sort of caught up.
Axe imo is a defensive class barely hits bow/knux even has issues hitting sword so he deserves to be in the position he's in now as a complete brute of a tank. Honestly can't stand the crying.

Much like any other game based up in classes the support/ranger would not do a lot of damage to a full-out warrior. I do feel that it's gone a little out of hand. But technically any guild with only one type of character will not prevail at DSoma GVW, at all, ever. We will not be making any fast decisions on how to deal with it simply because the situation has not matured enough yet. Also there's too many other issues to deal with. :P

Devil soma, as I understand it was meant to be a rock-paper-scissors type of thing. Much like any other game based up in classes the support/ranger would not do a lot of damage to a full-out warrior.

Fin and Dan had tested and knew the average lvl 100 stats of all chars including axe when they made the str/con change.
That's why they made the change in the first place, so there is a variety of classes to choose from. A guild full of axers will not kill an archer on a stone. A guild full of archers will not kill an axer on a stone. You want accuracy, evasion, range/speed AND now you want damage and defense. Coven do not win because I'm on the stone, we win because WE are protecting the stone using multiple classes. The time of 100% archers is over, people need to pick another class and changing it will only benefit dex classes. At GV i gear myself for defense, nobody runs from me when i attack them because my hit rate is non-existant.

I'm relatively new to this game and did not understand any of it ... but how I see a player who made 10 lvl's punch that a nearly even archer's did them and the player can not take 3 seconds gv .. it sucks not... And gen no1 need to protect u on stone cuz we know u never die even 10x lvl 100 hitting u

Seem to forget what archers do to every other class that's uncapped and not axe. So you can't kill a solid defensive axer using what's probably the worst damaging class in game lol... Can't have it all lads.

I will promise you that if instead of 5-10 archers you had:
1-2 spear
1-2 sword
1 axe
1 knuckle
1-2 archers
1-2 mages.
Genefuser would not stand on the stone very long.
