"ISYLVER"Appreciate the comments guys - however try to remain positive.

As for the procs not sure I agree on this - it’s like complaining there’s too many flavours of ice cream.

I’ll see what tweaks and additions I can make this weekend but to be clear this is a collaborative effort that the community need to get involved into to.

As I said in my other post, would you consider anything to boost new players and bring some numbers in, even short term. I know a bunch of old players who would consider returning if the right options were available to reduce the grind time and get them into a place where wars become fun etc.

Right now I appreciate many people have put a lot of effort to get where they are now and they should be commended for their efforts (a special unique soul bound item/weapon to dedicate their efforts?) but you really need some new faces into the game and some of the current players would make good trainers (if they are willing) but there has to be something to draw the crowds away from other games that don't need the same level of grind.

Maybe this needs to be checked lol.. it might be a bad roll epic xbow but still I can only imagine how an intense average roll is.. and having a wis requirement on a melee weap - please change this. I can only imagine that it is a bug?

wow thats..... shocking?
i like the thought of making people sink their stats away from the norm, but if the attack doesnt make up for the loss of str im not sure what it acheives, dont get me wrong i still believe archers as a mellee class are overpowered (i am ignoring mage as a class in that statement) but nobody will remove their attack for wis just to get a new coloured weap, its no different to you doing it now and using your normal grim xbow's

I do think the high wis requirement is to try balance out the RvR, relocate some str/dex for more md for devils which in turn may allow humans to stand more chance at melee with you and higher md may allow you devils to withstand humans magic more.

The attack on that new bow is pretty poor.

it doesn't balance rvr though, it makes archers more OP and makes the rest of the melee classes useless

-Hsoma

Lets improve a non-luxurious upgrade and shake up if people really want faster recoil over more damage. It may lessen the constant suction on Tablets of Evil.

Upgrade Devil Pill and Red Devil Pill to now add +3~0 and 6~0 min on weapons respectively per +1. Capped at +5 with a max def of 15 min attack and 30 min attack respectively

Lets amend Mending vial mechanic to self heal - not whatever it is now. May make people think about a heal set like I once wanted to do... for hunting purposes.

-Dsoma

Lets have Tablets of Diluted Evil (like ToLE) added to all level ~60 mobs as a bit of fun
Lets add Oily Blood as a drop and its craftable too. Adds a layer of MD (1~4 Magic Defence (25%)) that stacks to +5 per piece of armor upto 4~16 MD. With a max set of 4 pieces being 16~64 MD (25%). Enough to make a devil want to wear over other other pieces in RvR.

I'll consolidate everyones ideas into a single readable post tomorrow so it gives everyone a better look at arguing/debating and makes it clearer to Fin/iSylver

I think the new bows are intentionally a bit crap since bow/archer is easily the best weapon/class. Would need to see other weapons at epic/intense to get a proper idea.

EDIT: The fact that we cannot see the new weapons on the armory means we can only speculate at what sort of stats these weapons are supposed to have; meaning we can't even tell if they're good or not (yet). Personally, I don't like this info being hidden (and should be available in the Armory) but that's just me.

Once we know untag values we can accurately extrapolate the rest of the tag values.

I like the idea of increasing rates, maybe like x2 to 90, x1.5 to 100 and x1.3 to 110 give the lower levels chance to catch up and compete

Would be a huge task for anyone to undertake to start from scratch now

Crafting rate increase would also be nice, it takes such a vast amount of materials time and Barr to do this
Plus the fuller town looks the more people will log in to play

In dsoma I would love to go back to how the levelling system use to work, I don't think it ever will, but a shake up of how the point allocation system works would be nice. Axer meant to be a tank build but has lowest MD so can't even tank a mage? And an archer with greatest range has highest defence in this field? Seems backwards
I know we can respec but shouldn't need to

As has been said however many times before & been ignored time and time again:

. Fix range issue (most pertinent to d soma since class is fixed).

. Increase rates from 1-1xx(at least 10 levels below current cap).

. Remove huge grinds that are a barrier to success like 30 con (h soma) and crafting (both worlds) in favour of something slightly more fun e.g. quests/+10 skill drops.

. Remove PK immunity in favour of PK maps with +gains/drops and have alternate PK immune maps.

All of these things in conjunction would convince more people to play imo.

Would probably help also if people selling items as opposed to only those buying them were banned for it. Totally unjust and senseless imo.

There is nothing like a buzz of logging in town and seeing it busy (as Tyro said)

I think back to times where i log in and theres an Xmas event or Halloween event and ur actually feel like rushed to deal with your day to day tasks so you dont miss out on whatever it is everyone else is doing ingame,

by increasing rates a little / increasing drops a little / doubling crafting - the game will be busy, which in itself is a snowball effect and all of a sudden we have our game back to its best :)

thats the plan anyway (or it should be)
