Is what I am saying wrong? If there was no cap, would the chars i mentioned not be so ridiculously far ahead of everyone else? Cater the game to the hardcore and you lose your mid 70-90+ players. Thats what happens will happen if cap is raised too early. If you want something to do push for more content that level 100s can play with and gain advantages in terms of gear / items, not raising the level cap. If you want the game going strong in years time, it needs to be aiming similarly towards warcraft where its about items at a capped level (Yes caps do raise every now, but its all about items) Cater the game towards the majority not the minority.

I'm not going to comment on raising the cap because im 50/50 on that thought however, I agree with seph when he says the scope to get ahead is what drives people to play for example my char is in no way godly or half decent however.. if I was to start playing like FULL ON I would want the cap to be raised because the way I see it is, currently my drive would be banging the gimps in that blacknights or w/e guild but knowing they have 2? I think capped chars and 3 or 4 nearing its like whats the point? IF I was to catch up i'd literally just catch up I wouldn't be able to get ahead and 'earn' an advantage over them.

Lets face it, if plum or the chinese were still leveling at the rate they were at the start of the game, the vast majority of players currently playing wouldnt even tickle them, gvw would be dead and probably demotivate most players. Caps should be removed. Rested should now be made free up lvl 70. Half how fast you gain rested after lvl 100. No rested after lvl 110.
Then these scales can be pushed forward as needed. Its better to slow those at the top down and speed those at the bottom up rarther than just having caps.

ive started playing again and tbf its still pretty busy in places I ran threw wraith pit and there still a massive tribe bowing away and with swords new 50/50 balance even tho I don't get much time to play im hoping that it will b the most viable we shall see soon enough lol
