Tbh actually blame myself for getting baited by his nonsense do wish there was a forum ignore function that auto hid posts because he'd be on it, just can't seem to hold a civil discussion without dropping his 'facts' and other useless info unrelated to the topic.
Maybe if players weren't bored out of their skulls they wouldn't need to quit and pass their chars on to friends to finish them, which is what this thread is for. Getting those players back in game.

NUCLEAR I quit at 97 a few weeks ago, gave it to Deimos - he's about the most useless PvP'er since Basil went head to head with Coven so he's prob died a million times over but in fairness told him he could delete it for all I honestly cared. I honestly didn't see the point finishing it off - a pointless task that had sapped far too much time off me already. I hope things get addressed but quite frankly it could be Archer Soma all over again and I wouldn't log in, too much under the bridge and too many wasted hours.

Need to figure out what makes players get to that specific point. Out of everyone that's quit apparently I seem to be the only person in soma history to be given a char though.

Fair play, I mean some people just get to that point where they just can't recover and they leave which is fair enough. Need to figure out what makes players get to that specific point. Seen a few older players log in none of them moaned. DL from what I've seen are more than friendly to 'new players'. As a guild we/they want the best for the game. Through the youtube videos they've promoted more than anyone else. Certain people in the guild have also paid for advertising for the game. You know why you get abuse, surely it's not a surprise? I would, however, be surprised if many outside of NM (and Lupi) have anything bad to say about DL. Even then, most of NM probably understand it's just an in-game rivalry and accept it for what it is, not personal at all. To say it's an issue is nonsense. Nobody is quitting because some pixels said some bad words. Edit: Don't take people disagreeing with you as 'flaming'.

THIS is it tho... this year on soma how far has this got you... everyone know DL is the top guild in soma.. well done... a life long accomplishment.... BUT
Why not change your traits... make the game more approachable for players.. see how that change takes the server as seems on forum everyone wants the game to better regardless of guild people are in..
What's there to lose?... why not bring the small soma community you have to better the game rather than break it down already to where it's broken too?
Yes there needs to be rivaraly otherwise it's boring but why not put that aside and make this place the place you want it to be as individuals...
Before you say this and that.. I was only ever part of the fued between 2 guilds as I was in "sirs" was in "magners" before that but from "sirs" and BRAINDATA the next move was to "DL" however it could have gone both ways at the time. Ie RICHMICH going to NM

It's all good jest and a good rivalry. I don't think anyone has ever quit the game over a rivalry or being flamed. And I think having a strong rivalry is the only reason so many people still care/want to play/still do play.
However it is so one sided at the moment (more so than I think it's ever been) thst might have skewed it slightly.
