I'm level 75 and been to wow and ss few times mostly get 1 or 2 shot by everyone. The point is the game seems to get more fun after lvl 90. I don't have much chance of boss drops or even know where they spawn. I've had 1 good drop from EB and the rest of my items from Xmas event. Most people including me get bored grinding 90 lvls to join in the most fun part of the game. Also killed 3000 wbm best drop swift hand. I just think a small rates and drop increase will be good for usercount before cap increase.

This is the kind of player my suggestions are aimed at. We need to keep this kind of player that doesn't have the time to play a lot of hours, playing. I can't speak for dsoma, but level 90+ on Hsoma is where you can start getting involved with bosses, PvP etc. That's where the game becomes interesting. If we don't give these people a helping hand and some kind of encouragement/incentive to keep playing, the game will die.

The changes being worked on all sound great, but IMO there's more pressing needs.

Dsoma side is about the same, though tbh a capped player will always own anyone below about lvl95 due to high damage weps etc, if it comes to pk they won't stand a chance, maybe last long enough to warp if quick
Mainly due to the huge gains in last few levels (but this will change with new stat system when it comes in)

Absolutely agree, sorry but my friends and I will take a break from the server till exp rates and skill rates have been looked into. Hope Ghostlord and Finito can see the importance of this.

Peace out, cheers.

And, if speeds were increased to lev 90 or 100; then there was a cap increase of 10 , wouldnt the players that have more time to play, just race ahead again.
Then De Ja Vu , people complaining again here with the same stuff.
People that have more time to play will always race ahead. Thats mmo's
From what ive seen here so far, levelling rates seem pretty cool.
A few seem to want a speed up, but most ive spoken to, think things are just fine as they are.
Usercount will increase when new update is released. Most agree the changes due seem good.

People seem to think a new content update and level cap and the floodgates are going to open? Whatever gave you that idea?

There are hundreds of players who have quit and hit a slow, and it's easier to get these back and up to 100 than a patch aimed at capped players.

If you just shoot a patch at capped players a handful will come back and quit again due to no players and no pvp/and group content due to not enough of a user count (current situation)

Who seriously plays soma for the engaging pve experience? Everyone i have played with, the majority play to make their characters better for the pvp and rvr ect and that comes with a user count. I don't know anyone who plays because they enjoy getting 30 Con, reskilling a weapon, getting an SR or hunting blg for 900 hours.

The new update is aimed at players of all levels, not just capped. These players that have hit slows and quit, undoubtedly they will hit further slows and probably quit again, because they dont have much time to play?
I don't really see any logic in this speeding up of things because people dont have time to play. It sounds more like a complaint of their life situation, and not a fault with Soma. Can't blame the gamemasters for not having time to play

Pandora so your saying cause it's to slow for some it shouldn't be raised therefor growing the usercount will suffer..

It's not like 2/3 people are are requesting faster levelling it's 95% of the community ... What harm can upping rates have on server?? A rush of lots of newly capped players then sitting at cap for another 2years as there's no content? It's worked for the last two years I see no issue in giving people something to log on for, it's going to have zero effect on the server ...

How is the update aimed at all players? People quit because you can't justify 1000 hours of input before you can really enjoy the game. If casual players could take part, maybe the user count would increase. I remember Esoma there was always a large usercount, which meant there were always a lot of low/mid/high lvl players around so the grind didn't really seem an issue. At the moment we have capped players and everyone else just has to grind to join them. Casual players could do with some motivation and being involved in the fun parts of the game would do that. I'm not expecting to 1v1 with stones or anything. Players like that have gear for fun and will probably always be on top (just like esoma) but we don't have that usercount to keep lower lvls fun. Just my opinion peace out

Logged onto soma for the first time in quite a few months... was greated by a few players from DL... went well as usuall had the trash talk at warehouse by few chars who when I was playing I was well with but whoever these users are behind these chars are really letting the game down... yet I've seen a few names from last night come up wanting a better user count.. agree with OTD feedback etc..

What a contradiction from forum to ingame it's shocking how small narrow minded people can be from months ago on a 2d game.. wonder if these people's mouths are are big as there keyboard in the real world?

Don't want to put a downer on this thread and I am only 1 individual but there was cry for user count here after reading thought give it a go see what's happening in soma but how toxic it is and mentality of individuals is disgusting.

On a nice note was good catching up to certain individuals shows there are decent people outside a certain guild..

Shame the toxic is all from my old guild... but there are some decent people there too and won't take that away from the guild as a whole.

Lol.. simple minded... that's not the point look at bigger picture... the cry for bigger user count maybe where it was... how do you see that happening with this sort of behaviour from individuals that are meant to be young adults?.. young adults in size but not mentally

Or maybe you're just too sensitive, not everyone is super nice all the time just have to deal with it. We're not in school you don't need to curl up into a ball because someone said something mean to you in game. Despite age this is still a highly competitive game there will always be trash talk until the end.

Haha again answer the points as opposed to trying find new can of worms... believe me ain't upset or curling into a ball I can live without soma... believe it or not...
What's next insecurity.. funny how good you are at finding out people issues should take it up as a professional..

Stop trying to flip it around... it's some good feedback from a ex returning player that you may want to take on board to improve the experience for most and get that user count where you want it to go...
