"GHOSTLORD"The down side is that we currently have too little end-game content. Reach lvl 100 and you're done at the moment. Why should we hasten this process at this point?

Remember that this is not a hard no. It's just a not now. It will happen in due time.

No problem, just discussing.

RE: Reach level 100 and you're done - I disagree. As Jhaelien said a capped char alone is not really much use without good gear. However if you make getting to level 100 a bit more attainable for the less 'hardcore' playerbase, it will incentivise them to keep playing. More people playing, more drops dropping. More drops in circulation, better economy/more gear being able to be made. More gear to go around as well as more higher level chars means better PvP. Better PvP keeps people interested, and may bring back older players that have left if they hear there is some competition.

Just my personal opinion but I would put the priority as follows:

1. Increase rates to 100, as well as unlimited rested to level 90.
2. Sort out drops (hopefully this won't take too long to sort and could be released shortly after No. 1), and make Mags much more attractive to hunt.
3. Level cap.

Test the theory of boosting lower levels by making everyone lev 100 by using the upcoming test server. Give them all the auras and basic weapon of their class and a basic armour set.

See if and for how long the Usercount increases.

I would guess this isn't a great idea or would be very useful. The whole premise of getting level 100 relatively slowly is to give time to kill lots of monsters, gain drops and hopefully by the time you do reach level 100, you have had some time to build up relatively decent gear to compete at that level.
Unless gearing up is made much easier, which many people are against, it would be a waste of time suddenly having an army of 100 level players ingame.
There seems to be an appetite for this low level boost though. Hence the above suggestion.

"OPENTHEDOOR"Nobody turns up to gvg anyway, so why make it twice a week if you don't add in anything to get players to a level the can participate.

In agreement with this and also found it odd to make it twice a week because of the current situation it will basically mean dl win twice a week instead of the once, doesn't need to be twice a week imo unless the usercount picks up then it can be increased at a later stage.

People talking about nothing to do at 100 is a false economy.

Primarily the reason there is "nothing to do at 100" is down to two things, content and undercount. At the moment both are crap, but fix both or parts of both and it's good..

If you don't fix both of these if you want to prosper post patch otherwise it will be the same situation in a few months time.

If you got 20-30 capped players to return, or 10 people returning and 10 people from 80-cap with some tweaks already most events would have willing participants and thus would encourage others to log on.

Seeing 5 people at a gvw does nothing to get me online, neither does seeing 6 people kill Sarin over and over. However I and many others might give it a crack if it was a good gvg or even and high number boss pvp ect.

It's also MUCH easier to get people back playing who have quit and getting people to lvl 100 than making content which has already taken a few years with no results. Other MMO's manage free levels and level boosting very well and I don't know why you wouldn't entertain this.

Game is on life support currently and needs a lot more than the same old changes or we will be talking about the same things in a years time. Different is good, don't fear change.

Also Monsterman, you cannot consider those playing conditions or playing hours normal so I don't know what you are tying to say by letting people know you got to 50 in 2 weeks using a tank and not stepping outside.

This sums up this thread quite well. I'm pleased to see it go so well for so long, though we nearly strayed sometimes.

Someone mentioned skill speed vs lvling speeds - I strongly support this since afaik skill hasn't been upped as much as lvling rates.

As for when to increase lvling rates, I'd aim for the lvl cap increase to do it. This has mostly to do with how we currently run things.

"KAIDONE"
"GHOSTLORD"
"ONAGA"<----- stopped playing at 60 due to the grind, have had 100% rested for over a year. Sure there are many others

I'm sure there are but if we cater to everyone who stops the moment it turns into a 'grind' we'll be able to reach lvl 100 in a day.

Let's sort out the things we're working on before adding even more things to do.
.

You're basically ignoring 90% of the community by saying put rate increase on hold but you can have rested to lvl 90 which isn't even needed unless you're kitted out and smashing mobs with a tank lol.

Seriously retarded. Fuck you ban me ;) xxx

Since you asked for it, you're not getting a ban.

Ignoring... pfffff..

Good day sir!

dangerous precedent to set . When others abuse the gm,s will u be so lenient?

pfff indeed

1 day you'll get abuse and ban, and another day you won't.
Get a grip tbh
Keep things consistent and we all know the boundaries.

Faster rates will only bring the game into early extinction. Imagine you can cap your char in 1 month? After cap, what will you do? Same with old players, quit playing.
Aint helping to let the game last for long. Grinding was part of every MMO games imo. What we need ere is not faster rates. Just focus on twisting more on WoW/PvP/GvG events that will benefit all levels.

They obviously wont make rates so you can cap in 1month, That would be like x 25 rates of esoma lol. If they do increase rates they will probably increase them by x2 of what they are now. That way it will still take about 5-6month to cap, unless u have a full time pilot and play hardcore yourself.
